Purple Gala: Stitches and Stories of Healing

The Purple Gala: Stitches & Stories of Healing is a special evening of community, storytelling, and connection, bringing together guests for a meaningful experience centered on healing and giving back.

Hosted by Author Angie Cole and held at Alice Event Center, this rustic-inspired gathering blends heartfelt storytelling with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We are honored that Alice Event Center has generously donated the venue in support of this event.

In partnership with The Purple Door, this evening is designed to support and raise awareness for individuals and families in our community.

Guests will enjoy a South Texas comfort-style dinner, a live reading from Their Healing Hearts, and time to connect in a relaxed, community-focused setting.

Each attendee will receive a handmade Heart of Courage—a small, quilted keepsake symbolizing strength, resilience, and the courage to begin again. Throughout the evening, guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a raffle, silent auction, and book signing.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit The Purple Door.
